At Downeast Outfitters, although we believe in modern technologies for safety, we prefer the traditional fishing methods passed down from our ancestors. We try to provide and atmosphere of a simpler time and slower pace in which to enjoy a total outdoor experience.
At Downeast Outfitters we offer many options for a safe and enjoyable outdoor experience. Our fishing trips range from fly fishing, to ice fishing in the winter and everything in between. We feel we offer something for everyone, from the novice to the most experienced angler. We enjoy taking people of all ages to some of Maine’s best fishing spots. Some of the fish we fish for are Small Mouth Bass, Large Mouth Bass, Salmon, Splake, Brook Trout, and Lake Trout. We provide all fishing equipment or you can bring your own. Fishing licenses are required by state law and can be found at mefishandwildlife.com.
